J-LAW is NOT the betch of the year!

According to "betcheslovethis" J-Law is the betch of the year. This coming from the opinion from betches who had to choose between her, Beyonce, and Miley.
First I have to say that Beyonce is not a betch just because she released an album and didn't tell anybody ...and ok she got her body back, whoopdie-doo Bey, so did every other celeb mom in Hollywood. That story is so played out. It makes me think about how awesome Adriana Lima is.
and dear God Miley, there is nothing betchy about rubbing your taco into your grandma's sheets, its disgusting. Sure, it got my grandma asking who she is...and who the hell is my grandma anyway? but aren't betches supposed to have a little class so they can tease the bottom dwellers? C'mon Miley you can't do that when you're at the bottom looking like Smeagol/Frodo's love child. Get. with. it. girl!
J-Law rallies the fat betches. She's pretty much awesome, but the kind of awesome that you want to be best friends with and grab a big mac with.

So who is my pick for betch of the year?

Well Helen Keller and every real betch can see that J-Biebs is the betch of the year...

1.) He peed in a bucket in public. = total betch
2.) His "F*CK BILL CLINTON!" rant = Betch
3.) He's super rich = betch
4.) He's super popular= betch
5.) The whole punching incident= TOTAL BETCH

And then there is this:
"I'm sorry that so many people are jealous of me, but like...I can't help it that I'm popular..."

Loreen is a Godess

C'mon Loreen please come to America! We need you! Goshhh...
If you haven't heard of Loreen then you should. She is the winner of the European Song Contest 2012...and she is a hell of a performer. She can sing, perform martial arts, and dance all at the same time on live television. She is amazing and the modern day Cher...I just wish she would make a trip to Atlanta one day!

Afraid by the Neighbourhood

There is penis genital exposure in this video so proceed with caution.
Jesse Rutherford is sex. I'm sorry, he just is.  His voice is...amazing.
Anywho, as somehow who has to face anxiety every day of her life, I LOVE this song. There should be more songs about anxiety. It's so hard waking up afraid all of the time and not knowing why, and its really tough when you are in a relationship with a twerp and you're afraid that someone will take your place at any moment. You start to feel pretty crazy. This song goes there--it takes you into what it's like to fear...especially when it's yourself...or that you can't be a whole being without another person (there is always something wrong and scary when you can't be yourself without someone else). I've been experiencing a ton of anxiety lately (I feel like there are people wanting all kinds of crap from me without giving anything in return or there are people with expectations for me that I don't want), I feel like I'm living in a small box and the walls keep crushing me and I don't know what to do?

Luke Bryan--Crash My Party

I normally don't like country, but I really love this song. Luke Bryan's voice is so smooth and beautiful that I can listen to this song any time
Plus the part with him and his wife is just so sweet!

Bugs!

Bugsy is my partner in crime! :)

Devils Backbone--Civil Wars

One of my favorite bands of all time...this album is amazing, maybe even better than their first one?

Oh Lord, Oh Lord, what have I done?
I've fallen in love with a man on the run
Oh Lord, Oh Lord, I'm begging you please
Don't take that sinner from me
Oh don't take that sinner from me

Oh Lord, Oh Lord, what do I do?
I've fallen for someone who's nothing like you
He's raised on the edge of the devil's backbone
Oh I just wanna take him home
Oh I just wanna take him home
Ooooooooooo
Ooooooooooo

Oh Lord, Oh Lord, he's somewhere between
A hangman's knot, and three mouths to feed
There wasn't a wrong or a right he could choose
He did what he had to do
Oh he did what he had to do
Ooooooooooo
Ooooooooooo

Give me the burden, give me the blame
I'll shoulder the load, and I'll swallow the shame
Give me the burden, give me the blame
How many, how many Hail Marys is it gonna take?

Don't care if he's guilty, don't care if he's not
He's good and he's bad and he's all that I've got
Oh Lord, Oh Lord, I'm begging you please
Don't take that sinner from me
Oh don't take that sinner from me

Oops sorry

I haven't been keeping up with the writing challenge because I just started work...I'll put something up soon!
But here is a picture of my feet in the yard (A VERY large clover patch).

Day 2: Write a Fanfiction: Bully Jimmy Hopkins POV

Bully- Jimmy Hopkins POV

I had a hard time controlling my excitement when she came rolling by on her Vespa. It was cherry red, my favorite color. I just wished the old fart wouldn't let her saggy tits hit the dashboard when she steered. Either way, I'd take it. As she road by me she let out a yelp of sheer liberal freedom throwing her arms in the air, taking in the crisp morning air, all the while taking her hands off of the handle bars and lifting them to the sky. What a stupid old ass.
If I was going to do it, I should do it now.
I quickly reached into my pocket, searched for a marble, bent it to the rubber in my slingshot...
I chuckled in glee...soon I would be riding a sexy red Vespa back to campus.
I could hardly control this excitement when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
f@#$! I exclaimed....man, I was pissed...the old woman put her hand back on the handle bars and spun down the street, disappearing around the curve.
"ohodhoghd;oghogh!!!!" I turned around in frustration.
A nerd in green argyle and a serious case of acne stood in fear in front of me.
"What is it Pizza Face?"
"Uhh....mmmmm" His panicked expression was beginning to piss me off.
"SPIT IT NERD!"
"UHM UHMMMMM IT'S ALGIE! THE GREASERS HAVE TAKEN HIS BIKE!"
"So? What do you want me to do about it?"
"Well...Algie started a new newspaper delivery service in town and he really needs it...plus his mom gave him that bike." He said looking down at the ground.
"Then go get it!"
"He peed his pants in fright when it happened! There's no way he can get it from the Greasers. He needs you! He would have come to see you in person, but he is washing his pants right now...he told me to give you this."
He rummaged through his pockets and pulled out three five dollar bills and handed it to me.
"Another five and I'll do it."
"BU-"
 "THEN BEAT IT SQUIRM!"
"Fiiiiine....." he handed me another five
"Looks like we have a deal" I said counting my fives.

I skated up to the Greasers hold that night, behind the broken down school bus (where that scummy hobo lives) that sits behind an abandoned mechanical shop.

I'm a stealthy ninja so I climbed to the top of the school bus and sat on the top of it.Those Greaser idiots didn't even notice me. For a moment I second guessed myself. Last week I had thrown a bag of marbles in front of the main entrance of the school and then pulled the fire alarm. The dumb kids and asshole prefects came barreling down the halls and made a loud echoing THUMP when they rolled on the marbles and smacked their asses on the ground. Nothing pleased me more than hearing those scumbag prefects cluck like a chicken when they fell! Even if I did get in trouble, I'm still proud of it. I'm currently in detention for the next four months and I'll be expelled if I ever pull an "atrocious act like that again" according to my principle. Expulsion? Do I care? Not a bit! Not if I can escape the prison known as Bullworth, ride my Vespa and eat ho's ho's instead of studying....now THAT sounds like winning!

Anyway I sat on top of the school bus watching the Greasers play poker and noticed Algie's bike leaning up against the wall.
It was time.
With great accuracy I threw a stink bomb at them. Green smoke rose and rifled the air all around them rendering them unable to move. I then pulled out my spud launcher, put a giant potato in it, and launched it through the air and with great precision smacked one of the guy greasers in the forehead. He was down.
The lady greasers ran away.
Only two male greasers left.
One got out his marbles and began aiming at me with his slingshot.
and one actually hit me! It smacked me in the cheek---and it stung!
That F---er is gonna be sorry.
I loaded the spud launcher with another potato and smacked his other friend in the stomach. He fell down with  a loud "OOOF!!!"
Only one left now, and he was going to regret it.
I jumped off of the bus, the idiot began charging me...
I picked him up and poured itching powder down his pants
"NOOOOOO!!!" He screamed like the girl he is.
Then I punched him in the face
and kicked him in the nuts
then I walked away from him as he yelped in anguish.
I grabbed the bike and rode it to the library to return it to Algie.

"I got your bike Algie!" I called to him
His face lit up, "Oh boy!!!! Thanks Jimmy my mom got me this bike when I was ten and I was going to get it back from the greasers but then I had an accident in my pants because when I get nervous my bladder gets a little un-----
"Ok Algie" I interrupted him
I felt little bit of happiness as I gave it back to Algie. Doing the right thing for helpless people makes me feel warm on the inside...Especially Algie, because sometimes I think of him as a buddy...but if anyone knew that I will personally make them forget it.
"Thanks Jimmy!"
He hugged me
I pulled away in disgust
"No problem..." and I walked back to the city to reclaim my future sexy ass Vespa.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower: Review

Wow...okay...I've never got into a story that made me feel so uncomfortable (And I have read What was She Thinking: Notes on a Scandal---and can I just say I loooove Judi Dench in that film? ok...sorry tangit)...And I don't think that that discomfort is a total bad thing. I think that maybe this book bothered me so much is because I am personally a wallflower; a lot like Charlie, I am that shoulder to cry on...but scared to make a move in life (in general). I'm the girl, like Sam, that dates a string of bad characters, revealing nothing about myself to them because I want them to like me. I'm also a bit conservative...and this is somewhat of a 90s Catcher in the Rye, beat style, Allen Ginsburg type of story...which I love...because it does make me feel uncomfortable. So I do like this story...a lot...it made me think about my own life...am I viewer? or a doer? It made think about how I personally need to change some things, or else, face living a life  through someone else.
"...and in that moment, I swear, we were infinite..."
"I would die for you, but I won't live for you..."
"We accept the love we think we deserve..."

Panera Bread--Rockie Fresh (Feat Rick Ross &Lunice)

Lol I thought rappers spent all this time trying to convince us that they WEREN'T like white bread. This song surprisingly has a sick beat.
Not too bad for a song about broccoli cheddar soup eh?

Self Portrait Photography

I have been studying up on my camera lately and learning how to apply certain techniques to photos with it. Recently I studied up on how to create self portraits and after about 100000 shots I finally got these three that work! ^_^

^^^^That was a lucky shot lol
^^^My current FB picture

Now, I have some ideas for people other than me, that I just can't wait to have the time to shoot!

Rick Genest: The Coolest Guy in Fashion

This whole time I have been acting like Cara Delevingne and Barbara Palvin were the coolest it people in the fashion world at the moment. Well, I'm sorry to say that I was wrong. The coolest "it" person award goes to Rick Genest aka "zombie boy;" whose bones tattoo "suit" covers most of his body. Genest has headlined for Thierry Mugler and has been featured in Chanel, Rocawear, L'Oreal, etc.....and you probably have seen him in Lady Gaga's Born This Way video. I have to say, I'm not sure why but I find him to be beautiful...I think its because he defies nature...by seemingly being dead and living simultaneously.

Macklemore x Ryan Lewis-Wings

Today we were discussing Marxism in popular media and this song came up. I don't believe it is intentionally Marxist, but a critical point of Marxist theory is that "the man" and capitalism is bad; and that it should be leveled. Macklemore places an emphasis on how consumerism negatively impacts the lives of Americans in today's society and questions if spending money to be the "cool kid" even matters in the long run.
What I want to know is why Nike is heavily promoting themselves in this video...it seems like Macklemore is dissing them the whole time...I guess he is just proving his point about how ridiculous consumerism can be sometimes haha

Make it Bun Dem - Skrillex ft. Damien Marley

Again, I don't like dubstep...but this is so chill and cool that I had to post it.

Seven Nation Army - Glitch Mob

I don't really like dubstep that much, but this beat is soooooooo sick. This might just convert me to dubstep.
Seriously, this is the anthem of badasses.

Sweater Weather--The Neighbourhood

I found this on accident a minute ago and I am glad I did, it's pretty fun and upbeat and beachy :)
Plus it's sooooo cold in Kansas right now, and most of us here are holding our hands in the holes of our sweaters...so its fitting. (I inserted the second video just in case the first one didn't work)

Snow and the Southerner

As a southerner, as soon as I hear that its going to snow...even if its a half an inch....I run to the grocery store and fight off all my neighbors that I'm so nice to in the warmer months for some milk and butter. It's every southerner for themselves in those situations, even if that means that I have to fight them off with a french bread loaf. Since moving to Kansas though, I am surprised at how non-nonchalant these people are about snow. There is no "great race" to the supermarket and school hardly gets called off, even with a foot of snow on the ground. Being from Georgia/NC area, this rocks my world. We call off everything even at the slightest mention of half an inch of snow. We can't drive in these kind of conditions, even though we do get snow every year, because southerners only drive in sunshine really...(I mean really, we can hardly drive in heavy rain...ever seen I-20 during a rainstorm? yikes). So anyways, here, in Kansas last week we had about a foot of snow.

And this week, on top of the snow we just got, we're expecting another foot...And just like a southerner, I like to look at it out my window and play in it for a day...but now I seriously seriously want it to melt. There is a reason why Dante cast Satan chilling in the bottommost layer of hell, in a frozen river chewing on Judas' for eternity. Because snow and ice are evil.

Rihanna

I've been feeling badass lately...less T.Swizzle and more Rihanna! Whooowhoo!

Today I did something really cool

I planked > went into downward facing dog > walked my hand up to my toes > and stood upright without hunching my back or bending my knees XD
All this flexibility working out is starting to pay off!
I have NEVER been this flexible in my life...not even when I danced!
and I have never been able to do anything that cool since learning how to do the coffee grinder!

New Politics--Harlem

My new jump around the room with a big ass pony tail song. This reminds me of the "skater"/party music that was popular when I was back in high school (aka my favorite music genre). Anywho, this song is really fun n stuff!
Bananas is getting loud and turning up....

The Cool tunes of Alt-J

A lot of artists these are trying so had to be "unique" and "different," in fact they try so hard that a lot of times they just sound errrr dumb or boring (because their version of different has already been done"). Well I believe that Alt-J is a truly refreshing and unique artist with interesting and catchy songs.

Willy Moon-Railroad Track

At first, with the opening I was expecting Kanye but was pleasantly surprised by Willy Moon. I'm digging this guys voice and his hair as well as the southern bluesy flair to this track. Looks like the video was filmed in 'Nawlins, so me gusto mucho!

James Dean and Marilyn

As a romantic, I wish they had a love affair and that this was just a random snapshot of them just chilling in the city. I think it would have made an interesting movie at least. Maybe it would have gotten Marilyn away from the Kennedy's...

Cara Delevigne's Style

One of my favorite style icons of the moment is Cara Delevigne. She seems carefree and one of the few models that doesn't take herself too seriously. If I could, I would raid her closet. Unfortunately I would later regret that decision fairly quickly as it would probably land me in the slammer.

The song in the background is the acoustic version of Jessie J's "Do it like a Dude"

Rising Appalachia-Across the Blue Ridge Mountains

This is a local band that I currently love. Celtic music is part of the Appalachian tradition and these girls rock at it.
This is only a snippet of the song, the whole song is over 4 minutes, but well worth the length.

Is Barbara Palvin the new Miranda?

Since my last model comparison was popular I thought I would do another.
This is another comparison that I keep seeing. I actually don't think that they look alike at all. Maybe in this picture, but that is about it. Different faces and different body types, but they have similar coloring I guess (and the same profession). In other news, Palvin is the one supposedly responsible for breaking up Jelena....it made me do this: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOne cares-bye."

March for Life: Beneficial to the Cause?

In case you were wondering, I am pro-life, in all regards (The only time that I have a hard time with that stance is if the mother's life is in danger, I feel as if I don't have the right to tell someone to die in order to save their child). Anywho, my friend came up with an interesting discussion today on Facebook. Is the March for Life actually beneficial to the cause? It mean, it isn't going to change lawmakers minds and a lot of people just see it as a nice trip to DC or day off from school.

Some of that has merit, and I have heard that position argued before. I have known people who have gone for the trip to DC and the March was something that they had to do. My point though is this, it is in the dead middle of January, the coldest month of the year (generally) and all of these people are marching for a cause that they believe in. They come from miles and miles away and usually have either a day or half a day to spend in DC. My school took 7 bus loads from Kansas and drove 17hrs to DC to march in the frigid cold and spent half a day to explore and then drove 17 hours back. That sounds more like a hard journey than a fun field trip.

Also, I believe the March is hugely beneficial. It energizes the movement and breaths new passion into the stance. It also unites many people from different backgrounds and religions (or even no religion). Even seeing, photos of the half a million people who marched this year energizes me and makes me feel like I am a part of something big. If unity and energy were absent, then I believe that the movement would eventually crumble and die. A lot of people are scared to stand up to something when they do not have a crowd who agree with them. So by coming together, united in a cause, we have strength. Our biggest enemies to the cause are complacency and apathy, and without the March I believe we would be letting them in.
That image above is half a million folks that joined in the March for Life 2013 :)

Miranda Kerr--Treasure Yourself

I will be the first to tell you that I struggle with confidence. A lot. Or more or less accepting myself for the person I am. I'm not sure why, but certain aspects of myself I just want to remain hidden (Just in case you were wondering, I am well adjusted haha). And that lack of confidence and self esteem has gotten me into a lot of trouble in the past; things could have been prevented if I had the strength just to say no in certain situations. This summer, I picked up Miranda Kerr's Treasure Yourself. I was expecting it to be kind of flighty, I mean, its Miranda Kerr what does she know about low self-confidence? Turns out a lot, this book was beautifully written without any hint of vanity (which I was also expecting). It teaches girls and women to think positively. For instance, If you have a bad thought or a judgmental thought think aloud in your head "I RELEASE ALL BAD THOUGHTS!" over and over until it goes away. It may seem kind of childish, but after having tried it, I can honestly say that it works! Kerr also makes a point that every girl/woman is a flower and that we are each beautiful in our own unique ways (a rose and a violet are not the same but they are both equally beautiful)...so why the competition? We should love our neighbors as sisters and we should help build one another's confidence instead of tearing it down (self esteem is hard to build up and so easy to tear down).  So I can honestly say, that I respect Miranda Kerr not just for her supermodel status, but also because she uses that status to help promote confidence to so many people.

The Walking Dead

My current obsession at the moment is the Walking Dead. One because, zombies. Two because, drama. and Three because, zombies. I used to not be afraid of zombies at all, but after watching hundreds of them gang up on someone and tear apart their limbs and organs I have been having a hard time sleeping with the light off (Atchison KS would be the place for a zombie invasion, juss sayin). Better yet, the show is set in north Ga...my STOMPING GROUNDS! Seriously though, I'm going to the next casting call for zombie extras. What could be much cooler than parading around Fairburn road dress as a rotting cadaver?
My only critique of the show is that it is a little slow starting off but picks up after the first two or three episodes. It is also great if your into survivor scenarios, it even delves into bat shit crazies and what not. So if you're into gore and drama (that's you, ya'll supernatural fans) this show is the show for you!

I've parted ways with IExplorer

Internet Explorer is just too damn buggy and plus it crashed my computer and caused me to send a blank quiz on blackboard!!! I also almost wiped the entire memory from my computer and was about to begin defragging before checking to see if my issues were indeed a browser issue. It was. I hate you IE9!!! We are never ever getting back together EVER.

This was the Kate Moss/Johnny Depp photo I wanted to upload a while back ago

Ed Sheeran- Give Me Love

OMYGAWD this music video was powerful. I thought that it was gonna get really cheesy once she started pulling feathers out of her shoulder blades, but they really took this video and did something very powerful with it. Go Ed! Also, I thought since that I am in a current state of the love sickness (or whatever it's called when you want to gag whenever you see couples canoodling all over the street), I would hate this...but wow, it gave such a sense of love and torment that I couldn't stop watching.

Dirty Heads Ft. Matisyahu--Dance All Night

I am currently in love with song. I love Matisyahu and I love how the Dirty Heads changed up their sound from beachy to spanish sounding. This blend makes for a great tune!

Gar I'm having trouble posting pictures

I was gonna post a cool picture of Kate Moss today, but instead I will upload this video of Kate.

Bowler Hat: Yes!

I'm thinking about using my Christmas money to buy a Bowler hat, they're so cool and vintage looking!

Even the doctor has one!

I hate you 2012

Well I was gonna write about my year and seeing the positives about it, but 2012 kicked me in the ass one final time by giving me the stomach flu on New Year's Eve and breaking my phone......yaye...way to bring in the new year. One positive about 2012, I bought a car.

Maybe this is a good sign, last year I brought in the new year quite awesomely and had a horrible year. Maybe since I brought it in so horribly this year, my year will be great!!!
Well anyways cheers to 2013!!! AND HOPE YALL HAVE A FABULOUS NEW YEAR!!!!
